LANYON MUSIC FESTIVAL
Sunday 13 & Sunday 20 March › 4.00 – 7.30pm
(Music commences at 4.30pm)
This event showcases a dynamic range of local performing artists who will play on the Homestead verandah as the sun sets over the Brindabellas. Relax on the Bunya Lawn as the kids join in the activities in the special Good Vibes tent or visit the Homestead before the music begins. Bring along a picnic, or purchase food and drink on site.
Sunday 13 March
The Wedded Bliss place a strong faith in the holy trinity of music – blues, country and gospel. Prepare yourself for good time toe tappin tunes with a touch of swing and a dab of heartfelt sorrow.
The Fuelers Drawing from bluegrass & old-time, swing, rockabilly, country, and, yes, a little pop, The Fuelers bring you the best in char-grilled racing tunes.
Sunday 20 March
Vertical – a tight quartet playing original music with influences of different styles from funk and groves, Latin and straight-ahead modern jazz. Eric C Ajaye, Chris Thwaite, Paul Dal Broi and Niels Rosendahl leave plenty of room for improvisation, interplay and conversation
The DeeJay Gosper Band Songstress and Australian’s Queen of the Blues Harp. Whether belting out the blues or singing smooth Jazz, this inspiring performer and her band deliver a powerhouse performance full of natural open-hearted emotion.

OPEN HOUSE FOR SENIOR CITIZENS
Friday 25 March › 10.00am – 4.00pm
We invite senior citizens to enjoy a visit to Lanyon free of charge.
Stroll through the picturesque garden ‘rooms’ and enjoy the quiet ambience of the Homestead. Guided tours are available for booked groups. In association with ACT Seniors Week.
Cost: Free for senior citizens, otherwise normal admission
