Lanyon Homestead is set in a landscape of great natural beauty.
The rambling gardens surrounding the station homestead are available for hire for private ceremonies, receptions, photographic sessions, conferences, meetings and performances. Choose from six outdoor venues or two indoor venues.
The Bunya Pine Lawn is located directly under the two huge Bunya Pines and immediately adjacent to the homestead where power can be accessed. In March this area is affected by Bunya Pine Cones making this lawn unavailable.
The Vinca Lawn is screened and shaded by a line of pines, with a garden bed full of Vinca.
An extremely private area with the walled garden, hedges and pine trees surrounding it. The “picking garden” is immediately adjacent.
Suitable for larger groups, this area can accommodate a small marquee and is a unique setting for your reception. Power is accessible.
The Front Lawn is in front of the homestead and looking down to the convict built barn, this area has many showcase plantings.
The Rose Garden is ideal for small groups.
This building was once the garage for the homestead but now it has been fitted out for meetings, conferences and workshops. Unattached from the homestead, groups are assured of complete privacy.
Used by community groups as a meeting centre, the room has great views across the machinery-shed paddock towards the river.
A range of equipment is available for hire. Discount rates are available for community and non-profit groups.
