Elioth Gruner: the texture of light

A major exhibition representing the landscape paintings of Elioth Gruner, with a particular
focus on works of the Canberra region.

Gruner was an outstanding painter
of the Australian landscape, celebrated in his lifetime, and was awarded the Wynne Prize for landscape painting seven times.

SYMPOSIUM: The art of Landscape

A symposium, The art of landscape, organised
in conjunction with the Australian National University.

Convened by Professor Anthea Callen,
Art Historian and Professor of Art, ANU College of Arts and Sciences; with keynote speaker Michael Rosenthal, Emeritus Professor, University of Warwick, United Kingdom an internationally distinguished scholar of landscape art.

Free, 9.30am–3.30pm at Sir Roland Wilson Building, 1.02 Conference Room, McCoy Circuit, Australian National University then 4–5.30pm exhibition floor talk and refreshment at CMAG.
