Canberra Museum and Gallery

Located in the heart of Civic, Canberra Museum and Gallery is the ideal place for your next function, corporate meeting, launch or workshop. A wonderful alternative to corporate venue hire facilities, Canberra Museum and Gallery is a vibrant and contemporary building, which is private and ideally
located in Canberra.
We invite you to arrange a time to view any of the venue hire rooms below and discuss your individual needs with our professional functions staff.

The Foyer:

A stunning location suitable for receptions, launches, banquets, recitals, cocktail parties and fundraisers. Guests arrive to a room flooded in natural light with magnificent wooden floors. The Foyer is an extremely flexible large spaced room which includes access to an internal courtyard and has a capacity for up to
150 guests.

The Theatrette:

Suitable for presentations, workshops, seminars and conferences. The Theatrette comfortably seats up to 60 people. Equipment for hire in this space includes a projection and audio bio box room, lectern with microphone and screen for overhead projector. The bio box room contains a cassette and CD player, DVD and video player, amplifier, slide projector and LCD projector.

The Boardroom:

Suitable for executive meetings, this elegant self-contained room seats up to 14 people around a large singular table. Tranquil and completely enclosed, the Boardroom includes a private kitchenette and balcony.

The Public Meeting Room:

Suitable for seminars, business meetings, small workshops, planning days and training sessions, the Public Meeting Room contains long tables and seating to accommodate 24 people. Alternately, up to 40 people can be seated in a theatre configuration

A range of equipment is available for hire. Discount rates are available for community and non-profit groups.
