Dale's Cars

The exhibition, Dale’s Cars showcases a beautiful collection from a local Canberra collector of rare, valuable, sometimes controversial and often nostalgic model cars from the world of 20th century motoring.

His enthusiasm for die-cast model cars stems from an early childhood spent in the Pacific
with a collection of toy cars, carried in a small suitcase, as his constant companions.
His interest in model cars as collectible items rekindled as an adult and Dale’s collection now numbers close to fifteen-hundred.

The collection is based on cars manufactured during the mid-to-late 20th century with models from a number of different sources including Dinky Toys, Trax Models and Russian diecast model cars.
