Join Deborah Clark, Curator Visual Arts, for a gentle walking tour of public art in
the city west precinct. Meet in the CMAG Foyer at 11.45am for a 12pm start.
Allow approximately 1 hour for the tour, and then return to CMAG to continue
the conversation over light refreshments.

ONE'S NOT ENOUGH: COLLECTORS' FLOOR TALK

For the vast majority of motorcyclists, one bike to enjoy, ride and maintain is enough.
Peter and Ann Toet have accumulated more than 60 pre-1970 motorbikes and believe
each bike has an individual riding appeal. Join the collectors as they discuss the bikes
on display and how the collection impacts their lives.

MEMBERS EVENT: IMITATION OF LIFE STUDIO VISIT

Come along and visit the studios of three artists from our Imitation Of Life exhibition.
Experience and explore their art making environment on this exclusive 'behind the scenes'
look at an artist's working process. Meet us for morning tea at CMAG, followed by a visit to
the studios of Nicola Dickson, Rachel Bowak and Julie Ryder. Limited places available.

Michael Le Grand, prominent Australian sculptor and former Head of Sculpture at ANU School of Art,
on the occasion of CMAG’s major exhibition of his work. In association with the ANU School of Art Art Forum lecture series.

10 x 10 CANBERRA STORIES: CELBRATING 100 YEARS OF INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY

To honour the 100th year of International Women’s Day, and leading into the Canberra
100 celebrations, CMAG and the ACT Office for Women present 10 x 10 Canberra Stories.
10 prominent Canberran women, including Virginia Haussegger, ABC TV journalist and author,
and Marie Coleman, women’s rights and social activist, will talk for 10 minutes each reflecting
on their achievements and lives in Canberra. In association with Women’s History Month.
