For: Families with 4 to 8 year olds
Venture across the storybridge and join us
for an afternoon of art activities based on
books shortlisted by the Children’s Book
Council of Australia.
Throughout the afternoon children can create shoes that are works of art in Schumann’s
Shoe Workshop, collaborate with others on a play-based activity to build ‘a very fine house’, draw and paint Glistening Gardens, discover CMAG’s recently published children’s book, have their face painted and more. Children’s snacks will be available for purchase from Coffee Matters in the CMAG Foyer.
Homes for Stories, a series of sculpture workshops led by local artist Teffany Theideman, will be held at 12.30, 1.30 and 2.30pm.
