Celebrate the Queen’s Birthday long weekend with a visit to Calthorpes’ House. View the exhibition in the garage featuring an invitation for Mrs Calthorpe to attend a garden party at Government House in honour of the Queen Elizabeth’s visit to Canberra in 1954.

Examine the fabulous fashions of Dell Calthorpe including her quilted dressing gown with matching slippers, printed chiffon dress, and her collection of costume jewellery. Then create your own dazzling decorative brooch during a hands-on workshop led by local artist Jacqueline Bradley at Mugga-Mugga.
$35 (ACT M&G Members $30), includes all materials and afternoon tea, payment by Thu 25 July, please wear closed-toe shoes.
Please note, as the workshop component of program is held at Mugga-Mugga participants must provide their own transport for travel between the two historic places.
